About Peter Walsh

If you're not familiar with me, I'm termed as the decluttering and business man. I was born and raised in Australia in a tiny town 25 miles outside of Melbourne.

I'm 1 of 7 kids - center child, 3 brothers and 3 sisters. All of my siblings reside in Australia. I'm today a double citizen - Australian and American.

When I was sixteen I came to the United States as an exchange student - lived for a year in southeastern Utah and graduated excellent school there, in Moab. I liked it!

The idea of using kids was constantly appealing to me thus I went to university in Australia and graduated as a instructor and taught excellent school math, research and graphical art.

My background in knowledge led me to function in drug misuse prevention and wellness promotion in Australia and then in developing wellness, knowledge and training programs for universities and businesses.

1994 was a wise year. That's when I came to the United States and introduced a business that produced workplace training programs that helped employees with their interpersonal and correspondence abilities.

All of these previous experiences came together when my training experience and interest in organizational change in the workplace and in homes caught the attention of the manufacturers of the hit TLC show 'Clean Sweep'. We ended up creating over 120 shows and helped thousands of individuals receive excited about decluttering and organizing their homes and their lives.

Helping individuals live wealthy and full lives without drowning in their stuff has been the focus of nearly all of my function. I'm fortunate to today be functioning on The Oprah Winfrey Show helping persons declutter their homes, their heads, their hearts and their hips.

As effectively as my function on TV I've created a limited best-selling books about clutter and company. My initially (and favorite) is "It's All Too Much: An Simple Plan for Living a Richer Life with Less Stuff". I'm today moreover designing some cool organizational goods and hosting a nationwide radio system. This all keeps me busy when I'm not travelling or helping persons turn their clutter and chaos into calm.

I today reside in Los Angeles with my extended expression partner. No dogs. No vegetation. No clutter.
