Brand New (5 CDs - 6 hours):

About Ricochet

Homicide detective Duncan Hatcher is known as to the house of the superior court judge to investigate a fatal shooting. Enter Elise Laird, the judge’s trophy spouse, who’s awfully cool, calm and accumulated considering there’s a dead guy found on the floor of the research.

Elise’s account of the shooting is sketchy at ideal, and Duncan starts to think it’s a fabrication to safeguard herself from prosecution. His research into Elise’s murky previous convinces him she’s a liar, a manipulator, and over probably a killer.

And then she throws him for a loop.

Not recognizing whom to believe, Duncan is ensnared in a murder case that tests his logic, his reliable gut instinct, and his unshakeable integrity. He trusts the term of nobody except the ruthless crime lord who has pledged to eliminate him.

And he trusts least the female he wants many.

The ideal setting for Duncan’s moral issue is the seductive city of Savannah, where the Spanish moss in the historic oaks appears to whisper temptations, and the walled gardens of the Historical District supply ideal hiding places for the darkest of tips.

The gunshot at Elise’s house killed just 1, but it had a ricochet impact on Duncan. He’s in a battle for his lifetime against a murderous enemy, against a by-the-book partner who would virtually quite see him dead than compromised, and from the strongest adversary of all – his own conscience.
